Thank you for your interest in working for Sandwell Council. It’s a really exciting time to be joining us as we build on the rapid improvements made over the last few years and set our sights on becoming an outstanding council.

In March 2024, we exited a two-year period of government intervention – the quickest ever turnaround. But that was never the extent of our ambitions, and we’re still changing the way we work to become a modern, efficient, and agile organisation that has consistent high customer service standards.

Guided by our values: Ambitious, Accountable, One Team, Customer Focused and Inclusive. Our values form part of everything we do and are the foundation of our culture, shaping how we work together and how we interact with our residents, businesses and partners. They inform the way we design and deliver our services and the way we all work every day.
